Short Description
"Things always become obvious in the light of their opposites."
It is to know that you are a slave of Allaah, and that you are not granted victory without His support, nor saved without His mercy, nor moved without His will.
{To Allaah belongs the command before and after.} [Quran 30:4]
If you like to know who Qutuz, May Allaah have mercy upon him, is, look at the leaders who are swollen with pride, behave arrogantly and turn their cheeks [in contempt] toward people, walk through the earth exultantly, as if they like to tear the earth [apart], or reach the mountains in height, although they did not do for their peoples one-tenth what Qutuz, May Allaah have mercy upon him, had done. On the contrary, they were adverse and unhelpful to their peoples. It is in this context that the real value of Qutuz, May Allaah have mercy upon him, becomes clear.
"Things always become obvious in the light of their opposites."
From this perspective, there is no wonder that Qutuz, May Allaah have mercy upon him, should be supported, and another one disappointed.
Allaah never wrongs anyone even in the least.
In confirmation of that, Allaah the Almighty Says (what means): {And have shown him the two ways?} [Quran 90:10]
