Short Description
Reconciliation preserves our religion, while spoiling ties is the shaver. A Muslim must observe the former and averts the latter to be successful in both lives.
At-Tirmidhi, ranked sahih by Al-Albani, related on the authority of Abud-Dardaa that Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said: (Shall I not inform you of something more excellent in degree than fasting, prayer and almsgiving (sadaqah)? The people replied: Yes, Prophet of Allah! He said: It is reconciliation between people, spoiling ties is the shaver (destructive).
This great sunnah may be realized through reconciliation between the husband and his wife, the father and his son, brothers at family, colleagues at work, neighbors, or even between two quarrelling persons anywhere whom you may not know in person.
